K9s For Warriors is the nation’s largest provider of service dogs to veterans suffering from the invisible wounds of war, such as Post-traumatic Stress. Our unique, in-house program helps change the lives of American heroes by pairing them with a battle buddy, who was likely a rescue dog and then teaching him or her to utilize that dog to mitigate the symptoms of their wounds. It takes a team effort to make this happen. Our dedicated staff, no matter what department, comes into work knowing that they are helping to save lives, both human and furry! Our mission-first culture has guided our incredible success and growth. To help fuel our life-changing program, we are in search of a Campus Director for a secondary location.
With limited supervision, the Campus Director (CD) will provide leadership and direction to staff at a remote K9s For Warriors campus. The CD will be responsible for the warrior clients at a remote campus, including being the principal liaison for incoming warriors. This employee will be responsible for coordinating, following-up and communicating with the warriors. Additionally, the CD will plan, coordinate, and implement the remote donor program to meet the organization's fundraising goals specific to the remote campus donor base. This position will build and maintain relationships with donors, conduct prospect research, and work closely with the CEO and Development Director to solicit donations. Lastly, the CD will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the remote campus.
