K9s For Warriors is the nation’s largest provider of service dogs to veterans suffering from the invisible wounds of war, such as Post-traumatic Stress. Our unique, in-house program helps change the lives of American heroes by pairing them with a battle buddy, who was likely a rescue dog, and then teaching him or her to utilize that dog to mitigate the symptoms of their wounds. In order to help fuel our life-changing program, we are in search of a Volunteer Ambassador Coordinator with at least 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
Our candidate will have experience recruiting and training, as well as providing direction to a group of people. This position will require you to have attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and analyze data.
To succeed in this position, you must have strong verbal, written and oral communication skills. You will also need people skills and be a strong public speaker. Knowledge of management principles related to programs that involve a cadre of volunteers. Associate’s degree is required and the ability to work as a team.
