K9s For Warriors CEO Attends Signing of the Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture Act (PACT)

PACT Act will make animal cruelty a federal crime

(Ponte Vedra, FL) (November 25) Rory Diamond, CEO of national nonprofit K9s For Warriors, was invited to the White House today for President Trump’s signing of the Preventing Animal Cruelty Act (PACT).

The PACT Act was passed in Congress in the fall of this year. It makes the listed acts of animal cruelty federal crimes now.

“As CEO of an organization dedicated to rescuing dogs, I am proud to be here representing our nonprofit and our thousands of dog-loving supporters,” said Diamond. “Anyone committing an act of animal cruelty deserves the harshest of repercussions.”

Diamond was among a select group invited to the Oval Office for the PACT Act signing, and was the only representative from a service dog organization.
