K9s For Warriors relies on the generosity of individuals and communities coming together to make a difference for veterans struggling with Post-traumatic Stress Disability. Whether you are local to Northeast Florida, or live out-of-state, there are many ways that you can get involved!
Whether at school, at work or at play, you can support K9s For Warriors the way you want! Community events are a great way to fundraise and spread awareness. If you like to run, walk, hold a jeans day at work, or a host a bake sale then community events are the way to go!

Most of our volunteer opportunities are on or near our campus in Ponte Vedra, Florida. If you don't live near us there are still plenty of ways to volunteer or participate in a local event and use your time to make a difference.
You can do pretty much anything to fundraise for our rescue dogs and military heroes — ask for donations instead of birthday or holiday gifts, run a race, host a dinner party or workplace fundraiser or do something quirky!
Here are some ways you can support K9s For Warriors:
Raise A Puppy
Foster A Dog
Be A Volunteer
Puppy raisers are vital to the service dog training program at K9s For Warriors. You can raise a puppy from 8-12 weeks of age to help with their development before entering our kennel.
Foster volunteers house one of our dogs-in-training either for medical reasons, to help with the socialization process, or to see how the dog will do in a home environment. These foster opportunities can last anywhere from 1 month to up to 3-4 months, depending on the reason.
There are many ways you can be a part of K9s For Warriors by volunteering your time in our office, our kennels, and even attending events on our behalf.
