As Texas State Director, Andy will be the face of K9s For Warriors in Texas and oversee the Petco Foundation K9 Center. Andy is responsible for development and public relations within the community and surrounding areas, and will work with the development office in all areas related to the research, preparation, and submission of grant proposals to local, state, and federal entities as well as private foundations and corporate organizations.

Andy has over 28 years of management and leadership experience in both the private and public sector. This includes over 17 years in municipal government, and more than 12 years as a City Manager for various cities in both Florida and Tennessee.

Additionally, he has held the position of Community Development Manager for the City of Deerfield Beach, Fla. and Senior Administrative Assistant for the City of Jacksonville, Fla. where his career in municipal government began in April 2000.

Andy’s education includes a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He was born in Charleston, South Carolina, raised in Cleveland, Tennessee, and is married to Susan. They have three children: (2 boys/1 girl) William, Tanner and Jordan, and see many dogs in their family’s future!
