Join our dedicated team of volunteers using their time and talents to help our programs!

Volunteers have, and always will be crucial to the success of our programs! Every day, volunteers donate their time and talent so that we can continue our mission to provide service dogs to military veterans with Post-traumatic Stress. There are many ways to contribute to K9s For Warriors that will leave a lasting impression on our warriors and service dogs! K9s For Warriors strives to offer our volunteers a worthwhile volunteer experience. A major part of this experience is knowing what opportunities are available.

Volunteer Ambassadors

Are you a people person? Do you enjoy spending time out in public talking about a topic you are passionate about?

If so, consider joining our Volunteer Ambassador Program! This unique way to give back is designed to amplify our voice and educate the public on the issues veterans face and the solutions K9s For Warriors provides through our service dog program.

K9s For Warriors provides specialized training to make sure you are well prepared to talk about our program and answer questions. Volunteer Ambassadors must be local to the Jacksonville - St. Augustine - Orange Park area.

“I love volunteering, I love “Big Dogs” and being able to share how amazing the K9s For Warriors Program is with the public. This is why I am proud to be a Volunteer Ambassador!!”
– Karla, Volunteer Ambassador, K9s For Warriors
